The lands beyond the bounds of the Empire of the True Church can be divided into two classifications: The Borderlands, and the Fallen Lands. Just past the borders of Christendom proper are the territories of defunct empires and failed civilizations that are being currently rescued by the True Church. While they fall under the administration of the Demetrian Order, and to a lesser extent, the Angelic Order of Saint Michael, they are under the True Church’s protection, as best as it can be rendered against the forces of sin.
Then, there are the Fallen Lands. Much of the Earth is still ravaged by madness and demonic influences. Much of East Asia is still lost to an empire of sinners. Africa, beyond the Sahara, the Americas, Australia, and Antarctica are entirely the province of demons and monsters, save for a few remote outposts, the Nails in the cross of the True Church.
